It looks like Bush campaign is getting serious about grassroots efforts. The other day, I received an e-mail from the state Republican headquarters inviting me to an organizational meeting Saturday morning. My daughter even had a message left on her machine inviting her, and she is not on any lists except being registered as Republican.

And yesterday, I received the loveliest autographed picture of George and Laura at their ranch. The enclosed literature did indeed ask for money contributions, but also listed a planned huge rollout of volunteers for mailers, phone banks, yard sign placement, hosts for in home rallies etc. This is the first time I have seen such a big movement to organize. Great!
