Chicken Tortilla soup.
We have more of this for leftovers..;) Too bad the camera person was a little unsteady last night when she took this pick.. lol. Oh well.. I only get that way once a year......... ahem...

That soup looks interesting. I may have to try it sometime.
Today is blackeyed peas w/ham and cornbread day, though. Good thing my family likes it. I grew up on it. My mom always made it in a pressure cooker that had a little weight at the top of the lid that chugged back and forth and sounded like a train... you could hear the beans cooking all afternoon. Then we ate beans for a week, because my Dad liked it better as each day went by and it thickened up. (We called 'em beans, but usually it was blackeyed peas -- let's just say legumes to be gourmet)

That is fabulous looking soup!! Can you get the recipe?? btw I found my box of recipe books. So if I dig through there I will be able to find my strudel recipe! I found one I made for Christmas Day tho. It's called Pineapple Delight. It is SOOOOOOO good.
