I guess I look at the land and see barren and a hard way to live in many ways such as crops, water, vegetation, hot, dusty, sweaty many times of the year.
Today we have RV's and campers and if functioning and plenty of water and gas I am sure it makes it a lot easier to tolerate!
A place to sight see. respect, and visit yes! A place to live 24/365 no!
I was raised in East Detroit there all season were experienced and I valued very much!
I get excited with water falls, hills, mountains, trees woods, fields streams, snow, rain, sun etc.
