Or was it "Careful with that axe Eugene". I think, although I am not certain, that Syd Barrett also developed Schizophrenia at some point which is why he went off the deep end. Not a good combination.

Maybe one led to the other in Barrett's case. Either way it doesn't diminish his obvious talent in my opinion.

It may have been "Careful with that ax Eugene." BUT my sister clearly yelled the other in my face. And that's why I am the way I am :P

I think what happened with rock is that everyone became "artists" rather than rockers. I generally like music that is funny, ironic, or smart but always with a great hook.
