Al-Qal'a (The Fortress) an Islamist Internet forum, posted the first of a two-part interview with a
person who introduced himself as Abu Salma Al-Hijazi, one of the Al Qaida commanders
closest to Osama bin Laden.(1) The interview was conducted in Iraq, south of Faluja. The article
notes that Al-Hijazi was surrounded by five masked men carrying missiles as well as personal
weapons. The following are excerpts from the interview:

In regard to rumors about a large-scale attack against the U.S. during the month of Ramadan,
Al-Hijazi said that "a huge and very courageous strike" will take place and that the number of
infidels expected to be killed in this attack, according to primary estimates, exceeds 100,000.
He added that he "anticipates, but will not swear, that the attack will happen during Ramadan."

He further stated that the attack will be carried out in a way that will "amaze the world and turn
Al Qaida into [an organization that] horrifies the world until the law of Allah is implemented,
actually implemented, and not just in words, on His land... You wait and see that the balance of
power between Al Qaida and its rivals will change, all of a sudden, Allah willing."

36 25 36 lat 36 25 36 long is near Halab Syria, and wouldnt ya know it...that remark about the oblique...well Halab Syria, Ankara Turkey and Istanbul Turkey all follow an approximate 45 degree line between Istanbul and Halab!

This supposed encoded message looks like a jumbled up sentence to me. What if the words were rearranged to read:

All of the goals took place and are oblique of west 36, and of east 36 and 25. The hour is open.

Studying my map of NYC, I found E and W 36th streets, and an E 25th street. If you draw a line along the 36th streets W to E, then from the east point of E 36th down to E 25th (down 1st Ave, or if following the one-way street directions, down 2nd Ave), then draw an oblique line back up to the starting point at W 36th, you end up with a triangle.

In the center of this triangle is the intersection of 34th and 5th. Or rather, the Empire State Building.

Hmmm. The hour is open. I guess they are waiting for the next message.
