"Drama Queen."
"Don't mind me. I'll just die here on the fainting couch, a sensitive artiste misunderstood by a callous world. Fairwell! Fairwell!"

You're right to be leaving. People who have little or nothing constructive to say and who "cut and run" probably don't belong here. I'm not sure your (lack of) longevity and contribution warrants an opus though.

Never saw you before. My first exposure was a mildly insulting reply CMClay made to Mia T a few minutes ago.
I thought about responding, then thought "why bother?"
Glad I erred on the side of brevity...

"I joined Freerepublic in an attempt to converse with other conservatives. Lately it's been a struggle even to find a conservative post."
Sorry, that doesn't cut it. Perhaps Du would be more to your liking.
"All I see are two kinds of people, the "blame Clinton(and/or) Democrats for everything bad that happens(ed),
and the Bushbots that put GWB up to a place equaling Christ."
Clinton has a lot to answer for (in case you haven't noticed) and we are just beating back the barrage of lies, spin and slanted news coverage in regard to the WOT.
"Neither are true, and I'm a truthseeker first and foremost."
I guess I would argue the opposite.
"We have both houses and a President, yet the spending is out of control"
We are at war in case you haven't noticed.
"We get rid of the death tax, but now my grandchildren will spend their life paying down the debt,"
Not even close, look how fast it was paid down in the 90's.
"if they aren't drafted to fight the next oppresive ruler in some desert of the Presidents next whim."
Repeat, we are at war. This war will go on beyond my years but the only alternative is to cower in the corner or convert to Islam and/or both. Which do you think is best for your grandchildren? I think mine would rather have us fight.
Suck it up and grow a spine.

CMClay goes to a psychiatrist. "Doc, I keep having these alternating recurring dreams. First I'm a teepee; then I'm a wigwam; then I'm a teepee; then I'm a wigwam. It's driving me crazy. What's wrong with me?" The doctor replies: "It's very simple, CM... you're two tents"!!!

Lemme guess. You've been on here 24/7 since you've signed up. Now you're burnout and crabby.
Take a break. Everything looks better during the day.

"I think this calls for a saltine!"Absolutely! But since this is a solemn occasion of high drama, might I suggest a squiggle of E-Z Cheese?

Hmmm... E-Z cheese? I've had that stuff before. Isn't it made out of some kind of polymer?

The boy will never amount to anything if you keep coddling him.
Give it to him straight, Joe!

Before you go, please give us your solution on how you are going to save the world. Be careful what you write so no one at all will disagree with you or have their fealings hurt.
