Had a guy in my Basic training unit named Henson. His platoon nickname was "Kermit".

We gave him the most anticlimactic nickname we could think of.
*chuckle*
And since one of my drillsars kept slaughtering my name, I ended up being called simply "Killer B".
My brother got called "Smoked" since he was always doing pushups.
I'm afraid we weren't very original in our platoon nicknames..
