If you look at the photo very carefully you can see the guys are standing on a level area, the other stuff is then built around them. Trick. LOL

So does this mean that since the photo is from the NY Times, it was all made up? ;)

Purloined from another thread.
Who Reads What and Why?
1.The Wall Street Journal is read by people who run the country.
2.The New York Times is read by people who think they run the country.
3.The Washington Post is read by people who think they should run the country.
4.USA Today is read by people who think they ought to run the country but don't really understand the Washington Post. They do, however, like their smog statistics shown in pie charts.
5.The Los Angeles Times is read by people who wouldn't mind running the country, if they could spare the time, and if they didn't have to leave L.A. to do it.
6. The Boston Globe is read by people whose parents used to run the country, and they did a far superior job of it, thank you veddy much.
7. The New York Daily News is read by people who aren't too sure who's running the country, and don't really care, as long as they can get a seat on the train.
8. The New York Post is read by people who don't care who's running the country either, as long as they do something really scandalous, preferably while intoxicated.
9. The San Francisco Chronicle is read by people who aren't sure there is a country, or that anyone is running it; but whoever it is, they oppose all that they stand for. There are occasional exceptions if the leaders are handicapped, minority, feminist, atheist dwarfs, who also happen to be illegal aliens from any country or galaxy as long as they are democrats.
10. The Miami Herald is read by people who are running another country but need the baseball scores

It looks like their "Antenna mast" maintenance crews.
Is it the Antenna mast on the WTC tower?
Or on the Sear Tower in Chicago?
The shot appears to have been taken with a wide angle lens, hence giving the "fish bowl" appears of the buildings below.
I don't generally have a fear of heights, but this photo gave be a bit of "intake of breath" LOL

The first time I saw this photo I gasped for breath, too.
I think it's a trick.

If you look at the photo very carefully you can see the guys are standing on a level area, the other stuff is then built around them Actually it does appear to be real.
They are both wearing safety harnesses, and the ropes/pulleys are visible attached to the guy on the right.
Again, it's the angle of the shot the photographer used that gives it an "unreal" appearance.
My vote: Genuine!
(note: Pictures file name is EMPIREA) ((so it must be atop the Empire State Bldg))

See the foot just to the left of center on the lower edge of the pic? That is Conspiracy Guy's foot.
Flurry has the answer! LOL

The good thing is that my made up answers make sense. Most people wouldn't even see the foot that is pointing out.

Very nice poetry selection this morning.
As for the music, I hadn't thought of Mitch Miller in years. "Follow the bouncing ball." LOL.
