To: All
Many people will walk in and out of your life,
But only true friends leave footprints in your heart.
To handle yourself, use your head;
To handle others, use your heart.

Anger is only one letter short of Danger.
God gives every bird its food,
But he doesn't throw it into its nest.

He who loses money, loses much;
He who loses friends, loses more;
He who loses faith, loses all.

Beautiful young people are acts of nature,
Beautiful old people are works of art.

Learn from the mistakes of others.
You can't live long enough to make them all yourself.

The tongue weighs practically nothing,
But so few people can hold it.

Friends, you and me....
You brought another friend....
and then there were three....
We started our group...
Our circle of friends....
and like that circle....
There's no beginning or end.

This is what I see
A reflection of me

Would you like to know my pain
Will you bring me there again

Oh I understand of sparrows
Not the target of my arrows

I understand wilderness
We all do, and we congress

Here in this substitute
I am not here to refute

Just take note, that I see
The real value of poetry

Contentment Looked Blue

Contentment looked blue
hope is rainbow clouds
soft sky motion
and love found
is something of value

Good lines. Too bad the author is unknown.

Some Nights

Some nights can be
candle light and wine
dancing with a lover
laughing hair flung
out and sweaty
and romance in
his eyes and love
in yours

Some nights are
filled with monsters
after the dance
and the romance
was brief at best

And walking the
floor at dawn
is a habit filled
with starlite
nights and
cold bed sheets

Have you hurt the Canteen
Do you know what I mean

I do seek not guilt
Just know of the silt

My sword is sharp
Sharp indeed

Of course I am aware
Why others only stare

Remember, this sacred place
A respite, from the race

I know that you cannot see
Things as easily as me

So therefore I do post
With some know, more than most

Is it live, or is it Radix

The truth is,

Redemption makes all things possible

Good night poets.
If I could take away anothers
pain, would I cheat them?
I don't have that right.
Dream a little, Love a lot!

A song by a band I just found, a song about twisted relationships.
Which I know ALL about..

Three Days Grace - (I Hate) Everything About You

Every time we lie awake
After every hit we take
Every feeling that I get
But I haven't missed you yet

Every room I get awake
Every sigh and scream we make
All the feelings that I get
But I still don't miss you yet

Only when I start to think about it...

I hate everything about you
Why do I love you?
I hate everything about you
Why do I love you?

Every time I lie awake
After every hit we take
Every feeling that I get
But I haven't missed you yet

Only when I start to think about it...

I hate everything about you
Why do I love you?
I hate everything about you
Why do I love you?

Only when I start to think about you I know
Only when you start to think about me do you know

I hate everything about you
Why do I love you?
You hate everything about me
Why do you love me?

I hate
You hate
I hate
You love me
I hate everything about you
Why do I love you?

Was that graphic about another bicyclespakentruppen thing?
only this time browning automatics versus tanks?

On a side note:
inspired by a pic of fog:

I made the mistake of opening the door and was accosted by an orgy of snow assaulting my body like a million ravening flesh junkies peddling smack to the masses.
With a dark sense of foreboding I trudged out into the night, heading to the agreed upon meeting spot.
She stood serenely in the apocolypse of flying white, like a dark angel awaiting an offering of skin and desire.
A brooding evil queen slaking her thirst on the flesh of her minions.
And I was the first catch of the day.
Snow swirled around us, and I struggled to catch what was said.
This couldn't end well, it never did.
Everytime we met it ended in horror and catastrophe.
But, that was why she'd chosen me to begin with, we worked well together.

The water hadn't wuite gotten cold enough to freeze, but that mattered little to the overhead snowstorm.
Dense fog rolled in on us, and we faded off into the loenly night, two angels of devestation on a mission of bloody redemption.

LOL! No it was just a animated Gif I used to use as my "signature graphic" when I was heavy into "Panzer Elite"

Every Man Should Have A Rifle

So I sit and write and ponder, while the house is deaf and dumb,
Seeing visions "over yonder" of the war I know must come.
In the corner – not a vision – but a sign for coming days
Stand a box of ammunition and a rifle in green baize.
And in this, the living present, let the word go through the land,
Every tradesman, clerk and peasant should have these two things at hand.

No – no ranting song is needed, and no meeting, flag or fuss –
In the future, still unheeded, shall the spirit come to us!
Without feathers, drum or riot on the day that is to be,
We shall march down, very quiet, to our stations by the sea.
While the bitter parties stifle every voice that warns of war,
Every man should own a rifle and have cartridges in store!

I was wondering if you two were doing small sims to be amusing, like pitting motorcycle troops up against artillery and such...

Since I set up a "home network", I haven't figured out to bypass the router firewall and get our machines to connect to play Steel Panthers. :-(

Good morning Sam!

I was just about to ping you! I am late today. My house is a mess with drop cloths and painters and workmen.

Thank You for Coffee, Donuts and tunes. I have not gotten to the poem yet.

Good morning Darksheare!

I am slow today! Could not get to sleep this morning, once I did, of course I did not want to get up.
