A year or so ago, a friend emailed me an animation file. I will do my best to describe it.

It had Chinese/Japanese characters in it, soft music, and weird graphics of people/children (?).

The music was so soft, you had to turn up the volume so you wouldn't miss anything.

Well, after several pages of animation, there was a sound at the end of a blood-curdling scream. It would scare the CRAP out of you, because it was completely unexpected, and at a volume 10 or so times louder than the rest.

Anyone who remembers this, and can post a link would be greatly appreciated. I've got a buddy to 'surprise' with it.
