Welcome to FR, and to this thread. As others have pointed out, we do have an amazing diversity of thought & opinion (not to mention punctuation - just kidding), here at FR, all without quotas!
You know, one thing that occurs to me. A year or so ago, the big thing in the computing world was "distributed computing" where a problem would be divided up into small packets and individuals on the net could sell some processor time on their machine to work on a packet. This would create a virtual supercomputer to solve problems that no single machine would be able to tackle. To some extent, that is what this thread has been. Only God will ever know what effect we have really had.
