Medical folks run towards the event automatically...this is the real problem and the rational behind the secondary (larger) explosion. I did this myself back in the mid 80's...witnessed a bona fide psychotic at a suburban Philly mall shoot the place up and kill shoppers on 10/30. The gunfire was still echoing at the far end of the mall and I was crawling out of a store into the concourse to aid the 5 victims who dropped right in front of my view.

I agree. As do Firefighters and Police.

Regular on the street Joes afraid of their own shadows run the other way. Me, I check my radiation detector, swallow my KI pills, put on my escape mask and run. (ok, that's extreme, but it could happen heh)
