Here is a BUMP for Sean's earlier post copied below; can anyone provide such info from the financial markets?

To: All

Is there anyone here who can research, or even better, confirm the futures or puts on GOLD prices for the first week or so of February???

Such info could be a HUGE indicator and of major importance.

Thanks in advance.

I found the information.

Commodity Futures Price Quotes for COMEX Gold (February 2004)
Open $423.10
High $425.40
Low $420.50
Last $423.20

This is interesting. According to a Rueters report of yesterday:

"Some dealers said gold could touch a 16-year high of $450 because more investors had diversified out of the tumbling dollar. Fears of fresh attacks on the United States and violence in Iraq were also supporting gold, elevating its safe-haven status."

According to the COMEX page listed above the futures on Gold is not supposed to hit the neighborhood of $450.00 per ounce until June 2007.

Imagine that...
