I also think we are about to see the fulfillment of Revelation chapter 9. Without quoting the whole chapter, I'll take these two verses, 17 " And thus I saw the horses in the vision and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth and brimstone, and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions, and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. vs.18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths."

Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks that safety and security are such that we can continue with our everyday lives. Harm has not come to the American people; commerce continues; travel has not been halted. We cannot know the immense network that is on alert every minute of every day ... we only know the results, and You are to be praised for Your hand of protection that covers this land. We pray, O God, that Your hand would never be lifted, else we suffer. Refresh each one who stands guard ... may they ever be vigilant, for the enemy would be quick to come upon them otherwise.

Merciful Father, we praise You for the preparations that were begun in anticipation of Y2K. Thank You that many of our countrymen are learned in the needs for survival ... may there be many more who are making preparations in case of enemy attack. Make us a people prepared, for self and for others, that we might come and go with confidence that all is in order.

Grant great success to the new screening systems in place for our security, I pray. May those who have evil intent be rendered powerless ... may those bold enough to try to enter our country to visit destruction upon us ... may they be caught in these nets of security.
