If you could push the tetonic plate being subducted with the same force that occurs naturally by the pushing of another tetonic plate then yes you could cause a volcanic eruption. But that is not something humans can do so for now it is impossible.

Works for me. :) Glad there are some things we can't mess with, for now. Still looking into tunnels, passageways. Have mercy. Wasn't there a stopped attempt in Italy, last year, to use chemicals in the ventilation system of our embassy in Rome, via underground tunnels. They thought those tunnels had been sealed, but found them reopened and stopped the attack.
