I'm a lot more concerned about the timing of the Lailat Al Qadr on November 23, coinciding with the solar eclipse.
My understanding of Islam is that on the evening of the 27th day of the month, Muslims celebrate the Night of Power or the Laylat-al-Qadr. This is when Muhammed supposedly received the first revelation of the Holy Quran from Gabriel. Islam holds that this is when God determines the course of the world for the following year.
THIS scares me.

This scares me, too. I've been following this thread all day, and if I had testicles....they would be drawing up about now. What really makes me nervous, my son is leaving Thursday (eclipse day?) for Dubai, Bangkok, Istanbul and several cities in China, one very near the North Korean border. He will be gone for 10 days to these lovely garden spots. Upon his return, my husband leaves for Russia, Serbia and Slovakia. He returns on the 27th. (the other eclipse day?) Yep, I'm concerned.........and praying really hard.
