I agree that a low-yield device would create alot of havoc in the area of the detonation. However, I am not convinced that areas outside of 2 miles of ground zero will have massive destruction.
The issue is that the low-yield creates less of a fission and more of a fizzle (according to the technical comments of others in this thread).

I have been calling Daleel 'Al Phony' for a while - nothing he says materializes and it comes off asadolescent bluster.
As for a 2 mile radius, that sounds right. Idon't knowif an atomic fireball would travel that far down the subway tunnels, but I do think severa lblocks would beon fire and won't be able to be controlled, causing explosions and messes all over town.
