I am seriously thinking about canceling.

Give it some prayerful thought before you make a decision.

If it were me, I'd probably not cancel, but be very aware of my surroundings. I'd might rethink some of my activities while in the Big Easy (but then again, if it were me, I'd probably be at relatives' houses more than at events in the Quarter)...

Thanks for the advice. I have until the 27th to cancel my reservations. I will be reading these threads daily and saying a prayer for my country.
