Japan lost their stomach for war after Nagasaki (or was it Hiroshima). One non denominational nuke detonated on our soil with the promise of more if we do not cease and desist would stop us cold in our tracks.

well, we could just wipe out entire countries. Make it a TRUE WAR against Islam. And, since "places" are so important to them, well they would just be history.

Mutually Assured Destruction.

But, we have what, 20,000 nukes, and you are worried about 2 or 3 that "they" MIGHT have???

Just rub them out, and end the war.

Bull. They quit because they knew they were fighting a war of aggression against decent people who would help them rebuild their country if they only gave up, but who would destroy them if they didn't.

Britain, on the other hand, never gave in. Neither did the Soviets. If you are fighting against those whose goal is to destroy you, you CAN'T give in. It is at that moment that you continue fighting with everything you've got.
