What you describe in your post is a good description of the islamics in the booths. I think I said they were cold. They looked at me with an iciness at one fair that made me tell my husband later that I was sure they were hating me for being a woman and not wearing a veil and for having the audacity to question them.
The women are just as bad. I used to live in Europe in such a small little town, one lane bridge to get in and out, etc. Well, it was getting over run with Muslims.
I would take my daughter to the park and often times she would play with a group of kids who were Muslim. They dressed in western garb but the mothers would be dressed in that traditional get-up.
Mean as you could possibly imagine. (the mother's) and they always traveled in packs. They gave me the creeps then and that was pre-9.11.
