Al Qaeda again threatens New York, Washington and Los Angeles - Daily Terror Threat

Monday, November 3, 2003

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?

The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.

Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.

DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.

Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

Earlier today a Fox news commentator noted that Blair was to meet with either Mussharif (Pakistan) or Mubarrak (Egypt)(can't remember which one, I was just awake from a nap)and drew a similarity between this meeting and one that took place shortly before 9/11. Also, consider the recent brushes Musharif has had with being near when an attack took place.

No, that came from the chamber of commerce site in Plainfield, Indiana. Here is some more about that muslim center there. Seems it was the first in America,of it's kind. The following is an excerpt from a speech given there.

Dr. SAID MUHAMED SAID: So it was here in the universities of America that Muslims from Indonesia would interact with Muslims from Nigeria; Muslims from India, Pakistan, would interact with Muslims from the outer world. So this was here that they were becoming more and more conscious of their historical oneness of the Muslim world and, naturally, the binding force that is Islam itself.

LYNN NEARY: Many Muslim students took their renewed enthusiasm for Islam back home, but many stayed in the United States. They settled in communities all over the country, communities like Indianapolis

I was finally able to download a copy of b1.doc from http://www.hostinganime.com/battar/

The document properties specify "The martyr camp /" as the title. Created: Friday, January 02, 2004 9:26:00 PM.

It shows some details of field-stripping an AK-47. You can grab a copy here:

Well I suppose that is interesting information, in an FYI kind of way.

I didn't understand your tagline though.

More about that Indian mosque. Reasons for them building it there. Still haven't found a tunnel or cave nearby. (plenty of caves/tunnels IN Indiana, though)

Our arrival at the Islamic Society of North America was curious and ominous. We weren’t sure of exactly what to expect. We were greeted by Dr. Syeed, Secretary General of the Islamic Society. After being led to our conference room by an assistant - Mohamed Elsanousi from Sudan - we were informed of the history of the building and of the Society. The mosque was constructed back in the 1970’s at what was considered the Crossroads of America. It was considered the crossroads because New York City, Toronto, Oklahoma, and Texas are all one day drives, and Plainfield is in a close proximity to Indianapolis International Airport

The eagle is a very local reference in the Philly area. The old John Wannamakers store located at, I believe, 13th and Chestnut Streets, had a huge bronze eagle on the first floor near a world known organ, It was a landmark and everyone knew where it was when one said, "Meet me at the eagle." Philly, too has a large underground subway system and Broad Street and Market Street lines intersect just under the old Wanamakers. I don't know which store owns Wanamakers today and therefore its new name. Just some local thoughts.

15 teens? How did you survive? -g-

Ha, Ha! How did I survive? Slowly, very slowly. But hey, we are in the middle of a major snow storm and in a very rural area (not much for kids to do). One of the boys works for us (farm work) and we are the only one's in the area with a pool table. Better to have a house full of teens and keep them safe then let them get into who knows what. Teenage boys eat ALOT!

Yeah Dude, it is interesting. I'm looking for a cave/mosque connection. Tunnels nearby where these jerks could hide themselves/things in. "Finding Nemo" was a popular movie Christmas 2003.

OH I see. That seems to follow the general interest of the chat here for a while.

Tagline. You know after that movie came out I was barraged by so many jokes, I just put most of that out on the line.

It was a cute movie though, with wonderful animation.

Now you are saying the written section was dated on the 2nd?

I was just there today- it's Lord and Taylor's. (After Christmas clearance sales). Yes, the Eagle is in the main lobby. They also have a beautiful pipe organ.

Several years ago my husband bought me an old small baby grand with the Wanamakers label in honor of all my old stories about the organ at the eagle at Christmas.

How very sweet. It is a lovely organ- several times a week an organist plays during shopping hours. The entire inner space resonates.

This is all just a huge mess. I hope someone, somewhere is checking out all these underground things. Good Grief. I suppose if someone just pops up from nowhere, it'd be a good thing to look around, in case they came out of a hole in the ground. My Lord.

Unless there was a nuke aboard the plane, I cannot see how crashing a plane into a deserted Washington DC can surpass the horror of 911. I suppose there would have been other planes headed toward more crowded destinations like NYC, right?
