I think the Mary Jo part is in real bad taste. Couldn't agree more. I know it's a million to one longshot, but how would you feel if a family member or friend was at the party?
A neck collar would be an obvious choice for a prop, after the accident Ted wore that around as if he were the one we were supposed to feel sorry for. There are many news photos from the time with him wearing that.

I bounced the poor taste arguement off the soon to be missus. Here is her reply: If Mary Jo were here right now, she would totally approve of Ted being seen in this light. That bastard is responsible for her death, yet has gone on to fame and fortune. He needs to be remembered as the person who killed her because he was too concerned with his political career to call for help. He left her there for hours to die. There is no disrespect to Mary Jo...she was the victim.
