Prayer request for SAMWolf's dad/having surgery tomorrow

Prayer request From SAMWolf | 10/14/2003 1:33 PM MDT new
Next time you post a prayer request could you include a request for my Dad. He's going in for back surgery tomorrow. Doctor says it should be a simple operation, he's got problems with the discs and this operation is supposed to help. Never hurts to have some prayers handy though.

I would like to thank all of you for your prayers. My Mom just called, my Dad is out of surgery and in recovery. The Doc says the operation went fine. He'll be staying overnight for observation and I'll call him a little later. He just wants to "sleep and puke" as he put it.
I hope this operation is what he needed to relieve him of his acute back pain. We won't know for a while but my Mom said the first thing he did was check to see if he could move fingers and toes.

Back pain is horrible!! I'll pray this surgery was a total success.
Hope he was kidding about sleepin and pukin!! I've worked in hospitals, and if he's a puker.. that ain't fun!!!
