To: Flurry
That's what we tried last night but the extractor bit never caught and eventually just pulled the cap off the screw. And that was going slowly with the drill. By hand we were getting no where, just shaving filings. This reminds me of the time a bulb broke off in the base of an outdoor light fixture and everyone said just use a potato. That didn't work either and I ended up pulling it out bit by bit with the needle nosers.

I always use needle nose for broken bulbs. Duct tape!!
