Today is Election Day here in the United States. As it’s often being called, “the mid-terms”. Because it’s coming at the halfway point in the four-year term of the president.
I’ve never liked calling these elections “mid-terms”. Every election is supposed to be of grave import, not just those that might swing political power away from or (more rarely) toward whoever the President of the United States is. But for most of this country’s history we have made the president the focal point of American temporal presence. The person most empowered to define the country’s identity. And barring some drastic dislodgment from so-called conventional wisdom, that does not look to change anytime soon.
I’ve been asked quite a few times about what I think about this year’s elections. That I’m in South Carolina has made some especially interested, given the U.S. Senate race here.
What do I think is going to happen come nightfall, after the ballots are in? I believe there will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth, by a lot of people whose candidates did not win.
I believe that there will be a lot of bitterness that will play out long after this particular election, and a vast amount of that will result in the seeking of revenge.
I believe that a lot of damage will be done to this country stemming from this election.
I believe that this election is the continuation of a trend that I have been observing for a very long time throughout my life, and that what victories will be scored today will be overturned in time after those wins have been weighed and found wanting on the scales of reality.
I believe that Donald Trump’s victory in 2016 has been the one true deviation from the status quo in recent memory and that much of what has happened since that has been unfettered hatred on the part of those who oppose him. They oppose Trump because he represents the first real change in decades and they are afraid of him. But mostly they hate him because they enjoy hating. If it wasn’t Trump, it would be someone else. These people are motivated by hate. It’s what they live for. They have been around for a very long time and Donald Trump has been the focal point of their hate for the past eleven years. These people are going to continue to lash out and destroy what is good about America no matter who wins today. I believe that this election will decide how fast or slow America will continue to decline.
Regarding that previous point, I believe that America is in decline, that it has been for much of its history. An election isn’t going to stop that. It requires something more than that. It requires the American people choosing to stop the decline on their own, using their own initiative and devices. There can be no more relying on politics.
I believe that there are very few real leaders on the scene, or set to come to the scene. As a great man once told me, there are far too many politicians, but sadly very few statesmen. Let’s be honest: do many of the candidates for United States Senate strike you as real statesman material?
I believe that a lot of harm is going to result from this election, in one way or another.
But more than these things, I also believe, as Ronald Reagan – the greatest president of my lifetime – did, that America is still that great shining city on the hill. For all our foibles, ours is still the greatest nation in recorded history. The Founders gave us a beautiful form of government. Not perfect. It will never be perfect, not as long as it is made up of imperfect people. But they gave us a model of self-government that belongs to we the people, not to any elite or faction or party. That is a remarkable thing.
I believe that the true America will endure, so long as at least some of us honor its heritage and history, and take seriously the responsibilities that come with being a citizen.
That’s something that no single election can take away.

In the wake of what happened yesterday, I felt led to share it here. People, HAVE FAITH! Things look dark now, no doubt. But I believe that in the end goodness will prevail. The Democrats are wallowing in their glory this morning. But it is temporary. "Sic transit gloria mundi".
Remember what Rush Limbaugh told us about panicking. If he were with us today, he would no doubt tell you again not to panic. That he would tell you when it is time to panic. I am a poor substitute for Rush, so much so that I dare not assume an iota of his wisdom. But I don't believe this is a time to panic.
For the next two years we are going to witness modern liberalism radiate bright as a supernova, before burning itself out. It cannot sustain itself. It WILL do a great deal of damage though, especially if it sees that it is about to go into the trashbin of history. But we have seen liberalism burn itself out before. It happened across Eastern Europe when the iron curtain fell. It even happened to Russia itself. Now we ourselves are going to watch the failure of liberalism.
Brace yourselves for that. But also be prepared to rebuild. And we WILL have to rebuild. Might I recommend Alfred Jay Knock's timeless essay "Isaiah's Job". So long as there is a remnant, preserved from the wickedness and corruption, there is also going to be found the real America.
This nation is still the bright shining city on the hill that Reagan spoke of. No matter how much some people even within its borders wish to destroy that. What happened yesterday will not endure, so long as we stay true to the vision of those who came before us at the founding of America.
Be of good cheer. Have faith. Faith untried is no good at all. This is going to be a trial, nothing more.
God had the final say and since much of America would not listen you People can feel...A time for America to repent!
Old Blood American here....two of my patriarchal ancestors were with the few who crossed the Delaware with Washington.

If your real name is Cain.....we are both kith and kin.
“If all else fails, I will retreat up the valley of Virginia, plant my flag on the Blue Ridge, rally around the Scotch-Irish of that region and make my last stand for liberty amongst a people who will never submit to British tyranny whilst there is a man left to draw a trigger.”
...and while he did no say it....he should have.

I don’t care anymore about Democrats or Republicans. I only look to saving the Republic and the Constitution. To that, there is only a single solution left for all Americans.
BALANCED BUDGET AMENDMENT.
1. Spending can not exceed Revenue of the Federal Government, unless in declared war.
2. If spending exceeds Revenue, then NO CONGRESSPERSON who participated qualifies for Benefits, nor may the sworn in to any Federal Office for life.
You can lament about the parties. You can scream about the socialism. You can watch SS disappear under Medicare for all. You wan watch business run and unemployment skyrocket. You can be France, or you can get behind this.
Cain or McKnight...matters naught!

Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping...
And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
Matt 8:23
My question is how much IRGC funds supported Democrats?
BALANCED BUDGET AMENDMENT.
A BBA alone will not work.....
Our currency has already collapsed....2007!
Since as world standard, we print gold, most people do not understand that.
We are currently doing a controlled long term inflation panic to “solve a problem” they do not need or intend to solve.
If inflating away the debt does not float boats:
-give the benefactors of the rigged game a hair-cut...not all the debt is held by the FecGov/SS Trust Fund.
-privatize the Dept of War.....except for Navy and Marine expeditionary, all NatGuard and everybody is in it.
-Use 2 years of required youth service and also required service for those drawing SSI to do most govt jobs on a shared basis (say 16 hours a week) for which the qualify rather than paying employees to do it and accruing more benefits.
-Follow the intent of the Constitution.....no commerce clause, no binding SCOTUS opinions.
-2 year budgets......prepped in 6 months....no sessions beyond it. Critters go home to real jobs. All hearings done by “Special Prosecutor” investigations as directed.
-pool all pensions encompassing all private and public military and state, local Federal and give preference full faith and credit to SSI and military.....then pass your amendment.
The list goes on....
OR we could just renounce all the debt like the ChiComs did and the world did not end.
Just an opinion, and I do not feel strongly about it because we are all irrelevant here.

I am sure plenty as Trump had it in his head he could destroy Iran... God will wipe out Iran and personally think Trump got too full if his power and now will be humbled as we are now closer to the End times than I first thought...I knew he was going down the wrong road when he attacked them as Iran plays a huge part in those times.
