New highly-funded anti-ICE group has a big-name leader… and Julie Kelly just dug up his dark past…

Well, would you look at this…

A new group of former federal prosecutors and so-called “human rights” activists has decided that America’s Justice Department isn’t doing its job, so they’re going to step in and start building criminal cases against government officials themselves.

And as you’d expect, they’re funded like a well-oiled left-wing machine.

And guess who’s high on their list of targets…

ICE agents, of course.

The organization calls itself the “Rule of Law Project,” and it’s promising to investigate alleged corruption and misconduct that it claims President Trump’s Justice Department has been ignoring.

Sounds awfully official, doesn’t it?

Except this isn’t an actual government agency. It’s a privately funded nonprofit that plans to gather evidence and hand its findings to state prosecutors or a future Justice Department that will further weaponize the justice system and prosecute their cases.

And right about now, you’re probably wondering who’s funding this little shadow operation. Well, they’re keeping those names private, of course.

Meanwhile, immigration officers are working in a horribly hostile environment, with a slew of documented assaults on them and countless violent confrontations with radical open-border leftwing lunatics.

The left is loud and proud about its open-border agenda, which stands in direct opposition to President Trump’s America First policies. He was elected three times on a platform that fiercely pushed ending illegal immigration. And his admin is carrying out that policy, full-force, just like the American people wanted. But the left’s resistance to what the American people voted for has become one of the biggest, nastiest political battles in the country.

And now, right on cue, here comes yet another organization promising to scrutinize the big bad federal immigration agents, while insisting that its mission is completely nonpartisan.

Spoiler alert: it’s not.

As a matter of fact, the man leading this new crew has a rather familiar history deep inside the Biden Justice Department.

And investigative reporter Julie Kelly just pulled out some old receipts… more on that shortly.

The new group was announced on October 26, with organizers calling it an ambitious effort to build criminal cases against public officials and law enforcement officers.

Notice how they’re not interested in building cases against the criminals who are breaking our immigration laws.

The founder is Brad Adams. He spent two decades at Human Rights Watch investigating allegations of government violence around the world. Now, he’s targeting the United States, accusing the Trump admin of allowing serious misconduct to go unpunished.

MS NOW:

A group of former federal prosecutors and human rights lawyers is coming together to investigate political corruption and law enforcement violence that it says is being ignored by the Justice Department under President Donald Trump.

Organizers said the nonpartisan, nonprofit organization, dubbed the Rule of Law Project, would gather facts and present cases either to state or local prosecutors, or to a future Justice Department it said may operate in a less partisan manner than the current one.

Founder Brad Adams, who spent 20 years with the nongovernmental organization Human Rights Watch overseeing investigations of state violence, said the group was responding to a climate — citing recent stories alleging grift among politicians and incidents like shootings by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers — in which “senior officials openly engage in corruption and federal agents beat and kill innocent people with impunity.”

“The rule of law is on life support, but it’s all of our responsibility to make sure it doesn’t die,” he added.

Adams said the group would be funded by undisclosed private donors, and would operate in a strictly nonpartisan manner, probing corruption among members of both parties.

Notice how quickly this whole thing circles back to ICE.

The group is promising to build criminal cases involving federal officials, with immigration enforcement among its stated priorities. And like we said earlier, the plan is to have those cases ready for prosecutors, under a future administration.

But what kind of authority does this outfit actually have?

Well, none, right now. They’re hoping that changes, though.

Its members include experienced former leftwing prosecutors and investigators, so they certainly know how to collect information, interview witnesses, weaponize, and prepare legal arguments, that’s for sure.

What they don’t have is the government’s power to compel testimony through subpoenas or bring criminal charges on their own.

Essentially, they’re building private case files and hoping somebody with actual prosecutorial authority decides to run with them in the future.

So, who gets to decide which cases deserve their attention?

The group will do that.

We’re being told to trust that these investigations are totally nonpartisan, even though the people financing the operation aren’t being publicly identified.

Meanwhile, ICE agents have become public enemy number one, thanks to misguided political outrage that’s been fueled by the left and their media cohorts.

That makes the leadership of this new organization especially concerning.

Because the man actually running it, Mark Blumberg, spent nearly 30 years at the Justice Department.

And he has a rather interesting connection to another controversial federal law-enforcement initiative that you should be aware of.

Remember that shameful Merrick Garland school-board controversy?

Here’s a reminder: back in 2021, the Biden Justice Department became wrapped up in a massive political fight when the federal government started aggressively investigating so-called “threats” against school board members and administrators.

But it wasn’t “threats.” It was American parents showing up at school-board meetings furious about COVID restrictions, curriculum decisions, and other policies affecting their children.

But anything that was anti-COVID related was treated like the end of the world. So the Biden DOJ set up a task force to find federal enforcement options they could use to go after these parents who dared to speak out against the absurd COVID rules and regulations that were destroying their kids’ education.

Investigative reporter Julie Kelly began digging through the internal records, and guess whose name turned up?

Mark Blumberg.

Yes, the same Mark Blumberg who’s now running this new Rule of Law Project that is targeting ICE agents.

Kelly connected him to the 2021 school-board threats scandal and also revealed his involvement in another weaponized DOJ push involving “threats” against election workers. She took to X to share what she uncovered.

Julie Kelly:

SHOCKER the head of this group is Mark Blumberg–he worked on Merrick Garland/Lisa Monaco’s school “threats” hit squad. Blumberg was appointed to the “task force” by Lisa Monaco’s office in Oct 2021. Emails show he was instrumental in identifying federal statutes that could be used against parents and others for protesting school policies.

So of course he wants to prosecute federal officials who work for the president.

LOL, Blumberg: “People need to trust that the game is not rigged against them, that the rule of law applies to everyone.”

He appears to have been one of Monaco’s favorite toadies during his time at DOJ. (He left in Feb 2026 before the release of the report identifying him as a key figure in the schools “threat” task force to prosecute parents for protesting at school board meetings.)

This is part of an August 2021 email from Lisa Monaco naming Blumberg to her “election threats” task force–also to identify federal statutes to prosecute individuals who allegedly threatened election workers (however I have been reliably informed that the feds have no role in elections.)

Here are the two screenshots that Julie shared:

That’s quite a familiar and sinister name to find running an operation that’s now promising to target ICE agents and dig up “misconduct” by federal immigration officials.

One of the documents Julie shared is an October 10, 2021, email from Kevin Chambers, then serving in the office of the deputy attorney general. The message welcomes officials designated to participate in the school-board threats task force, and Blumberg is one of the recipients.

It also talks about creating a working list of federal statutes that might apply to threats against school board members and administrators. That’s called “fishing.” Biden’s DOJ and Mr. Blumberg were literally targeting concerned American parents.

Blumberg was smack dab in the middle of the federal initiative that later became the subject of such intense debate over parents’ rights. Biden’s DOJ and Merrick Garland were shamed.

Kelly also shared a screenshot of a task force roster of federal prosecutors and investigators working on so-called “election-related threats” as well. And of course, Mr. Blumberg appears on that list, too.

So his involvement in these kinds of weaponized federal scandals is pretty well-rounded. He’s a pro.

The organization says it will examine members of both political parties, but we all know that’s complete and utter hogwash.

Because this is yet another high-powered, well-funded left-wing attack group. They’re laying the groundwork now for prosecutions later, picking their targets and building cases they can prosecute when the time’s right.

This is the definition of lawfare.

ICE is the old INS...who controls immigration then?
Time to shut down ALL immigration and close the borders indefinitely.

Just to throw a HUGE monkey wrench into the plans of the group, Trump as he’s leaving office should pardon himself, every member of his cabinet, Elon Musk, every ICE agent and administrator, basically anyone associated with anything the Democrats are threatening to prosecute.

Just like the Biden Administration did with people like Anthony Fauci and Hunter Biden, Trump should do the exact same thing.

Nor are they interested in building cases against politicians who left the border open which allowed these illegals to commit crimes against Americans...

A big anti-ICE group isn’t even needed. Mass deportations aren’t happening.

Make a list and hunt them.

At every stop, at every location, at every opportunity.

Let the country choose who to support.

They will create a diversion in peoples minds that they are an actual governmental agency and will ‘indict’ the real Trump administration personnel and grab some headlines. They’ll have no authority whatsoever but idiots in their party won’t know that because they believe everything they are told by their leadership...............

Yes, Trump needs to pardon everyone... AND Trump needs to find out if George Soros was behind the elections of school board members who were members of the sexual weirdo communities and the commie/Islamic community. Why? Because one or two radical school boards is strange, but hundreds within the same time period is a PATTERN.
