Friday on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) spoke optimistically about Republicans’ chances in the November 3 midterm elections, declaring that the GOP nominee for his state’s open U.S. Senate seat was going to win.
In a joint appearance with Sen. Dan Sullivan (R-AK), Cruz said a “hostile takeover” of the Democratic Party by communists and Islamists was underway.
“Senator Cruz, I want to turn real quickly to Texas,” guest host Charlie Hurt said. “You know, we’ve seen a lot of these polls showing Talarico and Ken Paxton within the margin of error. In the past, you have been underestimated in the polls. What do you make of the polling in Texas right now?”
Cruz replied, “Look, in Texas, it’s a real fight, just like Alaska, it’s a real fight. Both races, I think, are tied right now. Now, here’s the good news, Charlie, we’re going to win Texas, and we’re going to win Alaska. Both of these races, we’re going to win, but we’re 18 days out. It’s all about turnout. The crazies, the radicals, look, we’re witnessing a hostile takeover of the Democrat Party by communists and Islamists. They’re going to show up. We’ve got to make sure commonsense conservatives show up.”

Not really hostile, there’s not much fighting against it within their ranks.
Omygosh. It’s not a hostile takeover. It’s a handing off of the baton.
Hostile? They’re welcoming them with open arms, kisses and bouquets.
The big picture, I agree with Cruz and hope he is right about winning.

Maybe Schumer does not want to be replaced, but that is strictly a personal matter. Democrats are all for the communist and Islamist takeover of Britain, France, and America.
I agree, not a take over. they are transitioning into complete communists, watch for the RINOs to join with them.
Really...it does remind me of that old joke I recall from when I was a teenager where a guy forces himself on a girl and she is saying feebly:

Not that rape is funny...it is that the reaction of the Left to this takeover of their party seems to sound just like that joke.
I wouldn’t exactly call it hostile. Democrats have been voting and trending towards totalitarian for many decades. It is just time to pay the Piper.
A better way to think about DSA isn’t as a hostile takeover, but as the vanguard of a radicalized professional class. It’s a continuation of a trend already reshaping the Democratic Party.
The DSA is the face but it the trend of who they have always been. It is socialism but it is also different. It is not the worker class making the change put professionals this time
