Ukraine is on the wrong side of US real interests and the wrong side of history.
Ukraine was attacked. They refused to surrender. Pro-Russian posters are confused as to why. They demand that Ukraine surrender.
Trump can try to blame the increase in fuel prices due to his dilatory pursuit of the Iran War on Ukraine's refinery attacks all he wants, but almost no one is stupid enough to believe that.
Major Uke-Russia-Z-Putin-Trump moves are pre-planned, and coordinated and timed. There is a goal in mind, and we the public hear the “news” in zigs and zags to achieve it. Z is an actor. So is Putin. As is Trump.

Maybe “putler” isn’t long above ground, like for a permanent dirt nap. Obviously there are known things not available to the great unwashed. Long term planning even his thugs can’t ascertain. Xi Ping as well— he “disappeared” recently after he took out 40% of his military leaders (it happened and those paying attention noticed).
Simplified history:
Most of Ukraine became part of Russia in the 18th century. Western Europe, in the form of the German Army, invaded Ukraine during WWII. Many in Western Ukraine aided and abetted the German invasion. Many did not.
The Russians lost millions of soldiers liberating Ukraine from German occupation. Independent nation or not, no way does Russia tolerate Western European military forces based in Ukraine without some form of buffer. The Neocon dream of Ukraine joining NATO was a deliberate and foolish provocation.
The most common language in Eastern Ukraine is Russian. This war is none of America’s business anymore than the disastrous Vietnam and Iraq wars were.
