Probably because they all approved illegal warrants to surveille her.

Why?

Were they all in the Epstein files? Had sexual relations with Hunter Biden? Were covert FBI or CIA agents?

Yeah, that’s strange.

You shouldn’t use a recusal unless you have a conflict of interest. No?

Even if you are admitting a conflict of interest or involvement, you’re not necessarily admitting guilt, but it isn’t a good look either.

Is it considered acceptable to recuse yourself if something is just a hot potato and you don’t want to handle it?

Nah, the Sixth Circuit will just assign it to a judge from one of the other eight districts in that Circuit. Most likely one from the Eastern District or Western District of Tennessee. If not, one from a federal court in Ohio, Michigan, or Kentucky,

There is no rule to mandate disclosure of the reason(s) for recusal?

Chief Judge: William L. Campbell Jr
District Judge: Aleta Arthur Trauger
District Judge: Waverly D. Crenshaw Jr
District Judge: Eli J. Richardson

I know Aleta Trauger’s a staunch Democrat, so in her case it’s good of her to step aside. I don’t know the other three.

Factor in that they all know it’s 90% certain that Blackburn’s the next governor of Tennessee. Other than folding during the 2020 Presidential election like most of them (we still need to know why) she has a sterling record.
