The Fed owns half the land in the West and does nothing with it. Time for another homesteader giveaway.
They got us by the short hairs.
We get closer every day in upstate to selling all our rental property which is very nice and newly remodeled. The quality of renters is absolutely abysmal. They all want something for nothing, are massively entitled and expect to live in a 5 star palace with credit scores hovering between 400 and 550.
If maintained that neighborhood could be very nice. The question is why it has not been maintained. I must assume it is a function of crime and socialistic New York government. I do not know.
In New Orleans were similar areas not in The French Quarter but near. The decay was just economics not government. People with some money but not great money moved in and slowly restored it. Many were gay and many straight. The values skyrocketed.
New York (the whole state not just NYC) is pro criminal and anti business.
“Trump Accounts” will take some time, but will address this issue, among others.

That sure looks like a mess. If that were here, I would have had an order from police before now to “clean it up”.
Some is, most is not. There are hundreds of thosands of square miles going to waste.
