The article explains that. The leader they had assassinated recognized Taiwan as an independent nation . The CCP has long campaigned that it is still a part of China.
There was no video to watch. I read the whole thing and it made a lot of sense to me. China wants to invade Taiwan. This leader in Haiti recognized Taiwan as an independent nation in direct contradiction with China's plan of conquest.
I might add this lady does her homework well. Lots of other articles worth reading there
