Six defendants, including several Chicagoans, have been indicted in federal court for a scheme to defraud Twin Cities financial institutions. One of the suspects was employed by the U.S. Postal Service and used her position to identify and steal targeted mail pieces containing checks as part of the scheme.

Willie Roy Turner Jr., aka “J.S.B.” and “Little Willie,” 29, of Chicago, along with five co-conspirators, has been indicted on one count of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, one count of bank fraud, one count of aggravated identity theft, and one count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud, announced U.S. Attorney Daniel Rosen.

Turner Jr. is the lead and one of six defendants in the case, and all were indicted by grand jury on June 26, 2026. Turner Jr. made his initial appearance before U.S. Magistrate Judge Shannon Elkins on Sept. 4, 2026, a press release from the U.S. Attorney said.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office:

From at least November 2022 to at least September 2024, Turner Jr., Anderson, Cameron Jr., Colbert, and Williams knowingly conspired to defraud banks and credit unions in the Twin Cities area by negotiating stolen checks. The five defendants opened, or attempted to open, fraudulent and unauthorized bank accounts in the names of business victims at Twin Cities financial institutions.

They then deposited checks payable to or paid from the business victims, which had been stolen from the United States mail, into the accounts using fraudulent personal identification and documentation related to the business victims. The defendants then fraudulently withdrew or attempted to withdraw the funds.

Thank you very much and God bless you.

One was employed by the USPS. Some people think our election ballots are safe in their hands. I'm not one of those people.

There is so much crime, corruption, and fraud in our society today that it is really hard to fathom. Us old people remember when we were a high trust society. Those days are gone and we miss them.

$5.1 million in fraud and they get accused of more than the Somalians who committed $200 million or more in fraud? Bet they get a harsher punishment as well.

It’s all ok. Amy Klobuchar is running for governor in Minnesota. She says on day one she will form a committee to look into the fraud. Problem solved.

I do hope that Klobuchar loses. By a lot!

More from the article:

“As part of the scheme, Turner Jr., Cameron Jr., and Shemwell conspired to steal the business victims’ checks from the U.S. mail. Shemwell, who was then an employee of the United States Postal Service in Chicago, identified and stole business mail pieces which contained checks paid from or payable to the business victims. Shemwell then sold the business victims’ checks to Turner Jr. and Cameron Jr. in exchange for payments on a peer-to-peer money transfer application. Turner Jr. and Cameron Jr. then shared the stolen checks with other co-conspirators and with each other.

Over the course of the scheme, the conspirators deposited or attempted to deposit business victim checks worth over $5.1 million at Twin Cities financial institutions. In total, the defendants were successful in stealing over $1.5 million in business victim funds.”

All humans are sinful. The more that power is centralized, the more the sinful acts impact more people and society.
When power is kept local, people are still sinful. But their sins are limited to that local area.

Example: Some claim votes were stolen on the Westside of Chicago in Nov 1960. No big deal. Votes were always stolen in Illinois. In reaction to 1960 the far left and the far right united around Republicans Ben Adamowski...and then around Dick Ogilvie, who won.

I joined the fight in 1962. It was a local fight...a fight in the ground game... out door knocking the precinct captains. We won a few. We lost a few. We hoped we could change the culture. 1998 vote fraud fighter Peter Fitzgerald won for US Senate. In 2001, over the objections of the Republican leadership in the House, he had Bush appoint a vote fraud focused federal prosector.

2001 to present literally thousands of IL Political Fraudsters have been sent to jail. And yet:
1) The highest percentage of vote fraud ever occurred when the Jesse Jackson candidate for alderman faced the Obama candidate for alderman...because both sides committed massive vote fraud. Yet nobody from that election went to jail
2) IL politics is just as corrupt today as at any time in the past.

Minneapolistan has become the fraud capitol of the world.
You can thank Governor Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison for that.

Just image how bad it would be if Walz and the idiot Kamala had won.
