This is one of those posts that this editor was about to scroll by, thinking it was clickbait. The government-funded Canadian Broadcasting Corporation was instructing its writers, on the eve of the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, not to call them terrorist attacks? Are they being sensitive to their "newcomers," hoping there's no Norm Macdonald-style backlash? This is an opinion column written by The Toronto Sun's Brian Lilley, and he says he's seen the memo.
Rage bait, right? Even Hasan Piker, who believes America deserved 9/11, would agree it was a successful terrorist attack. Lilley writes:
This week, I received a memo — presumably confidential — addressed to CBC News staff. It is authored by one Basem Boshra, who is the “Senior Director of Journalistic Standards and Public Trust at CBC News.” In Boshra’s memo, reporters are editors are told this:
“Do not refer to the Sept. 11 attacks as terrorist attacks.”
Boshra states that all in bold letters, italicized, as if to emphasize the point. To make clear it is a directive, not a suggestion.
It goes on. “The hijackings led to passenger jet crashes,” it reads, again in italics. There is no recognition in the CBC memo — none — that “hijacking that leads to passenger jet crashes” is not a protest, or a vote. It is a terrorist act, full stop.
So, basically, some people did something.
So, they were (coordinated) hijackings that led to passenger jet crashes … into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
I think it's past the time that CBC loses all it's funding, let individual liberals fund that garbage. But we know that would never happen as liberals love using other people's money to fund their ridiculous agenda. I know people that died in that TERRORIST attack.

The U.S. taxpayers have been subsidizing Canaduh and Mehico forever. All it did was make them hate us more. Mehico and Canaduh are our enemies. They are not our friends.
Every year on TV the only show I seem to find is the one with people’s home videos and their reactions to the towers coming down.
In the early 2000s there were a few shows that actually let the viewer know that there was a plot and 19 Islamic hijackers and the FBI and other agencies determining what was happening. I think one is called “Inside the President’s war room.”
Which others are there that actually explains what and why 911 happened?

If I remember correctly, only one of the flights could even remotely be called a passenger crash. But the ones that run into the Pentagon into the World trade center definitely weren’t.
