Very informative video of the mayor's approval ratings. At 37% it is a historic low for a mayor at the stage of the term.

It’s OK. She has money from her parents to sustain her no matter what happens to her political career. I would hope that at some point she has an epiphany.
Come on. Next election is in 2029. She’s free.
“I would hope that at some point she has an epiphany.”
She does not strike me as being very bright. She is a clichéd Progressive that can’t see beyond puppies and unicorns dancing around in her head. She always looks on the verge of tears and has no understanding why people do not like her decisions. A rude crude awakening for us all to witness.
What’s interesting to me is that here, and elsewhere, people seem to be willing to elect candidates with no political, occupational, or social experience or competence whatsoever. I don’t think voters think in those terms any longer. After all, what qualifications did she possess that made her think she could be the mayor of a major United State city? Same with Mamdami.
Almost makes you think that the election outcome is not at all connected with what the voters want, huh? But that would indicate fraud, so that can’t be it, right?
How do people like this even get elected? We need election/voter reform. Raise the voting age to 40.
The only path back to sanity:
1. Raise the voting age to 40.
2. Require property ownership.
3. Repeal the 19th.
4. Outlaw communists and “sharia law”
Ditto what you wrote.
“She does not strike me as being very bright.”
I would add she looks like she is mildly autistic.
I always wondered why Seattle voters, who I think are better educated than the average for most cities, would put someone in a “management” position who has never managed anything and lived in her parents’ basement, yet expect her to manage all of the diverse elements of such a large city. Furthermore, to me, it sounds like she thinks she is smarter than the market, which solves billions of simultaneous equations per second, and she thinks she can provide better solutions to problems that are market-driven. She is not up to the job and, even worse, she has surrounded herself with advisors who are even less knowledgeable about how market forces operate.
I don’t know anything about Seattle politics and not much about Chicago politics. All I know is Chicago got rid of despised Lori Lightfoot and managed to elect someone worse.
That last election in Chicago was a true dilemma: Two choices, both bad.
I agree completely. Ugly. No brains. No accomplishments of any kind. Yet able to spit out the progressive platitudes. Absolute perfect lib candidate. And now the voters are surprised that she doesn’t have the competence to do the job.
Buncha f’in simpletons
I’m not sure when she ever came across as a competent executive worthy of running a city? I hope the voters wallow in her ineptitude as long as it takes for her term to run out. She was their informed choice.
Excellent summary.
Maybe she got there on her good looks.
Maybe not.
(kidding).
CAN SHE BE RECALLED?
No She cannot be Recalled. No one wants her back.
A while ago, in some countries in Europe, only the taxpayers could vote, and you got number of votes related to how much taxes you paid.
Little bit like the shareholder’s vote.
It may not be that bad an idea!
Plus, it encouraged paying taxes!
