The mysterious CIA Project MKUltra may have been involved in trying to create brainwashed assassins for the US Government who may in turn have been involved in a series of high profile assassinations between 1963 and 1980. That's the conspiracy theory. However, many people don't realise that MKUltra's origins were at Dachau Concentration Camp and SS interrogation experiments using hypnosis and psychedelic drugs, and that many of the Nazi doctors were later recruited by the CIA and worked on MKUltra.

Remembering the Manson murders. There was one woman who got no prison time. Was she involved in MKUltra?
Summary: "Project MKUltra - Secret Nazi Origins" by Mark Felton Productions (YouTube video).
The video explores the origins of the infamous CIA mind-control program MKUltra (and its predecessors like Project Bluebird/Artichoke), linking it to Nazi experiments during WWII. Historian Mark Felton discusses conspiracy theories that the program aimed to create "Manchurian Candidate"-style brainwashed assassins, tying this to high-profile U.S. assassinations (JFK, RFK, MLK, John Lennon), while noting official denials that it focused mainly on interrogation techniques. Key Points:Did you read “Chaos?” Manson broke his parole many times but never returned to prison until after the famous murders. It seems obvious the government (CIA) wanted him out and about feeding LSD to his followers.
Interesting, watched it yesterday.
Seems MKULTRA will be making a delayed and slow entry into our consciousness.
I have a feeling the attempted golf course assassin (Palm Beach) was part of such a program. Acid?
Not quite, Manson and the “Family” were part of a federally funded “communal living” study funded through a NIH cutout that was spook agency funded.
This also explains why a guy on Federal parole in 1967 stayed out of prison, despite dealing drugs, stolen car rings, credit card fraud, pimping underage prostitutes and running guns. Bugliosi had to cover that up, as well as the celebrity angle. Manson and the girls were fixtures in the party scenes.
There was a connection with the so-called Process church, an offshoot of Scientology- that has some pretty suspect roots in of itself. Manson picked up a lot of cult techniques along the way, he didn’t learn all that stuff in prison.
That's right. It's all here. pic.twitter.com/t6yeSQGC1B— Jason Hudson🛡 (@Supra_Man_97) June 30, 2026
I read something interesting about Wild Bill Donovan, head of the OSS, the proto agency that eventually resulted in CIA. He was interested in LSD long before the government was popularly supposed to have shown interest - about 1952. This would push it back in to the 1940s.
One of my conspiracy theories is that (maybe) Defense Secretary James Forrestal was targeted for a little bit of mind blowing. He ended up jumping (or being thrown) out of a window, similar to the Frank Olson incident.
Big Popcorn should clean up.
What I find interesting is the Manson “enthusiasts” for lack of a better term, really tend to hate O’Neill and his book. He did yeoman’s work tracking down a lot of loose ends and revealing a lot of things that weren’t well known. Manson’s Parole Officer, had only one client. Chuck. Manson, and his “girls” were shielded from prosecution, at least until they started slicing and dicing the rich and famous.
This has been in the open for a long time.
Frankly, it’s pretty shallow.
Actually, Felton‘s work is, for the most part, not without a few quality questionmarks…
