Karen Bass was out of town for a major fire that affected the entire LA region.
No, we’re not talking about the Palisades Fire of January 2025, when she was, infamously, in Ghana to represent the Biden administration at a foreign presidential inauguration.
We’re talking about the Boyle Heights fire, which continues to rage in East LA, and which has spewed black smoke into the summer sky.
The emergency caused smoke to hover over the World Cup match between Iran and Belgium in Inglewood, and over the Dodgers-Orioles game in Chavez Ravine.
It’s a major international embarrassment, evoking bad memories of LA’s smoggy past, as well as the wildfires last year.
Bass was out of town...attending the opening of former President Barack Obama’s presidential center in Chicago.

She’s giving the moron voters of LA every example of why she is a horrible candidate and the voting public is just too dense to change the leadership running the city.
It’s what the people of LA demand. A woman of color who lives like a baller, and ignores responsibility. It’s what they aspire to become themselves.
There was too much news getting out about America’s greatness and the loving nature of the American people.
IMHO, this could be deliberate arson to dampen the spirits of Americans and foreigners visiting for the first time.

Chicago is not your place of work, Karen. If Obama had chosen LA for his (Library), that would be different. He specifically chose to not build it in LA, and that alone is the reason you decline attending the opening as part of your official duties.

Additionally.... it’s the larger cities, like Los Angeles, that have been taken over by leftist Democrats, that always vote for the Democrat. And Spencer Pratt proved that there actually is a contingent of voters in Los Angeles with working/active brain cells that did NOT want Bass as mayor. If not for voter fraud, Pratt might have won, but we will never know... now.
Don’t blame Karen Bass for anything she does as mayor. It seems that a huge majority of LA Residents still want her regardless. They deserve everything they get.

They’re trying and if, or rather when, another DemocRat admin gets into power, Texas will go the way of the Dodo bird as a free and sane state and as one of the last bastions of sanity and non-leftist values. They will import yet more illegal scum, flood the state with more foreigners, enact amnesty and the GOP will forever be a lame duck party.
The main problem we have right now is stupid people that are allowed to vote... for what they think is their own best interests (free everything)... when it’s really voting against their interests and their future to vote for Democrats.
