NASA officially named the four-person crew for the Artemis III mission on June 9, 2026. The selected astronauts are Randy Bresnik (Commander), Luca Parmitano (Pilot), Frank Rubio (Mission Specialist), and Andre Douglas (Mission Specialist).

Representing the next phase of the project, the LCVG moves the focus from the suit’s protective exterior to the layer closest to the astronaut’s body, where thermal regulation, comfort and reliability are critical.

Prada’s expertise in engineered knitting, advanced materials and innovative design concepts contributed to the development of a next-generation garment created through sophisticated 3D modeling techniques and designed to support astronauts during spacewalks of up to eight hours.
