Gavin Newsom has announced that the state of California will be paying out $20 million to the company Baby2Baby in order to provide families free diapers. However, the one issue that critics have pointed out is that the co-CEO of the company, Norah Weinstein, sits on the board of Newsom's wife's California Partners Project.
Newsom made the announcement for the diapers ahead of Mother's Day, this upcoming Sunday. "California is taking on the cost of raising a family head-on — delivering free school meals, making preschool free for every four-year-old, expanding after-school programs, and now making sure parents leave the hospital with the basics their newborn needs. Every baby born in California deserves a healthy start in life – and that means making sure parents have the basics they need from day one," Newsom said in a statement.
Newsom rolled out the effort on Friday, and under the program, hospitals will distribute 400 diapers directly to parents when they are discharged from the hospital. The program will prioritize low-income families that are on Medi-Cal and others.
However, critics pointed out that Norah Weinstein, a Co-CEO of Baby2Baby, is on the board of the California Partners Project, which is an organization started by Jennifer Siebel Newsom, the wife of the governor.
X account "Quality Learing Center," said, "This man is corrupt and should be removed immediately. The Co-CEO of @baby2baby is Norah Weinstein Norah Weinstein sits on the board of Jennifer Siebel Newsom’s California Partners Project, a "nonprofit" focused on supporting children and families. They will be getting rich off diapers while California smells like dirty diapers."
X account Kevin Dalton said in response, "Gavin Newsom just announced a shiny new taxpayer funded program giving free diapers to newborns leaving California hospitals and his administration is partnering with Baby2Baby with almost $20 MILLION in state funds to manufacture them. I’m sure it’s a total coincidence that one of Baby2Baby’s Co-CEOs, Norah Weinstein, sits on the board of Gavin Newsom’s wife’s California Partners Project. There is nothing that Gavin Newsom can’t grift."

Got to share in the money looted from taxpayers.
What is the matter with these grifters? Do they think that nobody will notice?
To paraphrase woopsee....”they’re not ‘free’ ‘free’.”
No, their just confident no one will do anything.
They’re
Maybe if you can’t afford diapers you shouldn’t have children.
Politicians offering a free lunch has evolved.
Counselor at Planned Parenthood: The abortion is no cost but if you choose to keep the baby, then we can sign you up for free diapers.
Or, they could do as I did, buy material while I was pregnant, sew diapers, and used those same diapers thru three kids, washing daily. Babies never had a diaper rash.
What mother hasn’t gone over and over with enjoyment planning and preparing to bring her newborn home, going over and over in her mind the cute little baby things and needs, including diapers.
Message: Breed even if you cannot or will not provide for them. Government will do it all.
Pant Load Newsome...
Ssssh little Baby don’t You cry.
I guess discount coupons were too easy.
All too often, they’re right.
Gavin the serial killer NewSCUM always finds a way to grift..he did the same with the “FireAid” 100 million dollar scam that ALL went to Dem NGO’s..also his wife knows how to grift too, she also ranked in millions on her bogus “Charity” too
Creating fatherlessness and welfare dependency — and proud of it!
That’s how arrogant and stupid they are.
Switch back to cotton diapers. Wash them.
They simply get Huggies and Pampers to donate diapers to their non profit. Stick a Baby2Baby label on them and redistribute. The non profit is all female. All Hollywood Libs. Gavin is supporting them as they support him. They get the contract, a portion of the money goes to his campaign.
