What do the residents/citizens/subjects/inhabitants of the Falklands want?
That long?
Seems like just yesterday I was standing on the deck of a British frigate that held an open house on a sunny day in the Port of LA, a ship which had recently taken part in that war, congratulating the crew hosting.
That question is irrelevant.
> Does Starmer have the stomach to fight a war over the Falklands? <
Starmer has neither the stomach nor the ships. But he does have plenty of admirals. There are now more Royal Navy admirals than there are Royal Navy combat ships.
Anyway, would the US Navy help Britain if asked?
Anyway (part 2): There’s a different government in Argentina now. Would they be willing to roll the dice again?
Wasn’t our war - wait, but we helped …
Did Argentina ever have the falklands in the first place ?
Good question.
Even if the British carrier Prince of Wales did sail, the Royal Navy does not have near enough escort ships needed to accompany it.
According to some reports, only one RN escort ship is ready to sail. The others are all being repaired, refitted, or whatever.
Every morning meeting for coffee with a just retired Senior Rear Admiral and an ex WWII British Commando, the LA Times and the San Diego Union to lay them out on the table and discuss the war.
Starmer’s been to busy spending tax payer money on putting illegals in hotels to spend money fixing British Navy ships.
According to this article, Argentina claims the Falkland Islands because the islands were once occupied by Spain. And Argentina is the successor to Spain.
Britain obviously disagrees.

First European to step foot on the islands was an English man- John Strong.
“Does Starmer have the stomach to fight a war over the Falklands?”
really doesn’t matter whether he has the stomach to fight or not: UK no longer has a blue-water navy ...
I calibrated some of the meters on the two Argentine submarines that Great Britain sank. I’m so proud.
The UK does not have the resources to safely put either the HMS Prince of Wales or the HMS Queen Elizabeth out to sea.
And the UK has a huge migrant problem. Perhaps the UK should turn both ships into floating migrant hotels.
When life hands you lemons, make lemonade.

(I’m kidding of course. I hope Starmer doesn’t see my post. Because he just might try it.)
That seems like a real stretch.
That was Thatcher’s Britain.
1982.
Long ago and far, far away.
That Great Britain no longer exists.
