The Russia-China Axis That Has Made Iran So Difficult For Trump
NDTV Asia ^ | Mar 20, 2026 | Naresh Kaushik

Last week, Trump said that Russian President Vladimir Putin might be helping Iran "a bit". But Iran's successful hitting of US military bases and energy infrastructure in the Gulf suggests that Russian help is much more than what Trump described as "a bit".

Russia is reported to have provided Iran with the precise locations of US warships and aircraft operating in the Middle East. Russia's Kanopus-V satellite gives Iran round-the-clock images of American assets and other targets in the region. An important target reportedly provided by Moscow to Tehran was the precise location of a US military base in Kuwait, after which an Iranian drone killed six American soldiers.

Moscow is attempting to replicate what the US has done over the past four years in the Ukraine conflict. The Ukrainian military has successfully targeted precise Russian positions and killed thousands of its soldiers after intelligence provided by the United States.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told a US broadcaster, MS NOW, on Sunday that both Russia and China are helping Iran militarily. "We have had close cooperation in the past, which still continues, and that includes military cooperation as well," said Araghchi.

China's military support for Iran is also significant, although more discreet, as it seeks to keep good relations with other Gulf states. Over the past decade, Beijing has enhanced its collaboration with Iran in missile technology, satellite and space programmes, intelligence exchange, cybersecurity, and electronic warfare...

During the first week of the war, two state-owned Iranian vessels left China's Gaolan Port for Iran and are believed to be transporting sodium perchlorate, a key precursor used in solid rocket fuel for missiles, according to the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission.

Beijing has also helped Iran in developing its cyberwar capabilities...

I wouldn’t call the Iranian attacks all that “successful”.

This Iranian regime is a mix of arrogance and impotence. The only enemy we need to be very concerned about is the enemy that controls the Democrat party and hates America. Doubt that at your own peril.

Well, and the TDS surrendermonkeys mewling and moaning that Trump failed because the war isn't over after three weeks.

1) Iran has its own recon satellites in orbit. Several. They don’t need Russian orbital downlinks.

2) We had two carrier groups on station. Then we used up their precision guided munitions and a 3rd carrier group was called forth. Behold neodymium magnet scarcity, which is how China is controlling everything.

3) The whole regime change scenario derives from the presumption that a 95% Shiite population is poised to reject Shiite leadership. Largely silly. They are devout. They have no interest in secular this or that.

There’s a Chinese spy ship that is right outside the gulf monitoring everything that’s going on there.

There’s also the Russia-China and pro-Iran axis WITHIN the USA that Trump has to deal with.

The Chinese anti-stealth radar worked brilliantly!

It blew up whenever stealth aircraft were about, alerting the operators of a stealth aircraft!

The vaunted S-400s and S-300 Russian missiles were fantastic at going up and then back down, if they weren’t blown up on the ground.

And that cool two stage long range super-hyper-sonic-missile! Why it only missed Diego Garcia by 5-600 miles!

And the 100 Rusian missiles fired at our carrier! If any had reached target, there sure would have been a mess!

U.S. Strikes Devastate Iran’s Bandar Abbas Port, Sink 11 Warships

6 precision strikes in 24 hours target Bandar Abbas, sinking 11 Iranian warships and setting the ‘Makran’ base ship ablaze. U.S. forces cripple Iran’s economic lifeline and intercept critical missile fuel components from China.

(snip)

The timing of this massive assault appears linked to critical intelligence regarding supply routes. Reports reveal that two Iranian cargo ships, the Shabdis and the Barzin, were en route from a Chinese port to Bandar Abbas carrying sodium perchlorate, a key component for solid rocket fuel.

For Tehran, the need for these components has shifted from “urgent” to “existential” following heavy damage sustained by its missile arrays in recent strikes. The fact that China allowed these ships to depart despite the active military conflict has significantly increased tensions between Washington and Beijing.

Huge explosion of 24 shipping containers of sodium perchlorate received from China for use in Iranian missiles in the port city of Bandar Abbas, Iran.

This chemical is more explosive than ammonium sulfate. He estimates it is about 2X the size of the Beirut Lebanon explosion.

This shipment by China was illegal. Israel was aware of the shipment.

Total horse dung propaganda, that has zero truth to it. Besides that the number of attacks have continued to swindle to the point that the only attack made today was witj drones., and notrt many of those.

Th eonly war that was executed in a shorter period of time, was the 6 day war was executed by Israel from June 5-10, 1967, against Egypt & Jordan, which were not war dogs like Iran has created, because of their lack of concern for life, including their own whcih they are told is better than this life.

We “won” the not war on the first day! Why are straits of hormuz not open? Has there been “unconditional surrender? Has islamic republic been replaced with liberal democracy? Has iran stopped firing missiles and drones? Dropping bombs and killing doesn’t mean you win. We dropped more bombs on vietnam than we did on the krauts and nips and we still lost.
