I’ve been wondering if Trump has just been mastering the Western way of war: Kill a lot of people, then give up and lose the war.

Well, we’re gonna. Crude prices were too high, Iran’s gambit of attacking the Gulf allies was savvy, and the world balled at helping secure Hormuz. Plus the midterms are just 7 months away. Trump is a politician, after all. The art of the possible.

NO ONE knows what is going on behind the scenes so anyone monday morning quarterbacking have no clue what is going on..everything Trump says is talked about beforehand with his national security team as well as Israel so no one knows..and the regime absolutely CANNOT stay in power PERIOD they must be destroyed every single last one of them..but to leave the energy alone, destroying their energy only helps the regime and hurts the people of Iran

They also want mass deportation without any messy footage of that being carried out

It would be interesting to ask a follow-up question: Suppose you had to pick one (a quick end to the war OR regime change) - which would you prioritize? I suspect I know the answer. I've been fearing for some days that the only way this turns out well is if the Iranian people themselves rise up to defeat the IRGC, but they share the same tendency as others to sit on their hands and let the "experts" (in this case the Israeli/US military) do all the work, which will not result in regime change.

If my pessimism pans out, this will end up looking like another Deep State/Neocon project that just wastes a lot of money, kills a lot of people, does a lot of economic damage, but doesn't really resolve the original issue. Setting back the IRGC nuclear program a few years is nice, but leaving them in power and making it clear to them that they desperately need to be ready with nukes for a future conflict is not good. Not to mention the likelihood of greater repression of the Iranian people in the meantime.

This is an important aspect of this military action. The IR cannot be allowed to hold the world hostage to ensure their continued rein of terror. This should have been done decades ago.

“American voters appear to want complete regime change in Iran...”

This desire is going to be short lived. Terrorist groups scattered throughout the world will retake Iran in time because the Iranian people will revert back. And because we are leaving the decision to change in the hands of the Iranian people, they aren’t any more capable, and sometimes less capable, to determine the best interest of themselves than the so called educated people of a decidedly advanced country like the US which has survived a single form of government for over 240 years. And that’s with creating our own adversaries determined to harm the others.

So don’t think this is the final straw/camel determination. It’s only a step in the evolution of man. (And it’s failures) But it won’t last long.

Americans are willing to be patient, and make great sacrifices, to get the job done. Think about the country after Pearl Harbor. But the threat must be great.

Rightly or wrongly, too many Americans do not see Iran as being near that threat level.

So they will not be patient. And they will not be willing to make the sacrifices.

Squaring the circle? Quick complete regime change....without boots on the ground?

Most Americans: 'unacceptable to leave the Iranian regime in power'

Irrelevant, because "most Americans" have no idea of the price to be paid and most certainly have no desire to personally participate.

The top response was 92% want the conflict to end as quickly as possible

And as far as how it’s going 57% said somewhat or very badly—how did that headline get manufactured out of there?

From CBS... taken over by Israel first David Ellison who hosts Netanyahu’s vacations on his private island. The first thing Ellison did after getting CBS News was put self-described “Zionist fanatic” Bari Weiss’ in charge of it.

Thanks for posting TRASH.
