The Humilation of Keir Starmer. Is This the End of the US-UK ‘Special Relationship’?
The Daily Signal ^ | March 04, 2026 | Jarrett Stepman

“Never be separated from the Americans.”

That was the advice Winston Churchill gave to his countrymen in the last meeting with his cabinet in 1955.

Unfortunately for the United Kingdom, current Prime Minister Keir Starmer has clearly ignored that advice. He appears to be doing his best to pull the plug and drain whatever is left of the once mighty and revered British Empire.

On Tuesday, while at a meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, President Donald Trump lambasted Starmer’s response to America’s ongoing military operation in Iran.

Trump said he was “not happy” with the U.K. for its initial decision to restrict U.S. access to launching strikes from the Diego Garcia base in the Chagos Islands.

Trump said that blocking use of the base made it necessary for U.S. military aircraft to go on much longer and more difficult missions from elsewhere to conduct their strikes. He then went with the brutal putdown, “This is not Winston Churchill we are dealing with.”

The end of that relationship ended a decade ago when the UK became one of Allah’s hangouts...

We have been bailing their worthless arrogant money asses out of the ditch for at least 120 years. We have forgiven them too long and too many times since they tried to dominate us as “nationals” or colonials. Piss on them. We don’t need them ever again.

Plus, both sides need to bring something to any relationship. What can the UK bring to the table today? The Royal Navy is a shell of its former self. And the British Army actually has more horses than battle tanks.

The UK does own a few small islands, here and there. I guess that counts for something - until they decide to give them away.

I will be $100 that Trump told Starmer: "we're using those bases anyway. So you can decide how to respond when your public find out."

Tomorrow is the 256th anniversary of the Boston Massacre.

Maybe we should have annual re-enactments. One group pretends to be colonials who throw rocks (or snowballs if there is snow available) at the other group, who are dressed up as British soldiers and fire blanks at the "colonials," who fall to the ground.

Just to remind ourselves why the Americans of that time hated the Redcoats and wanted to get free of British rule.

Even in WWII, it was the U.S. bombers that made the more dangerous bombing missions during the day, while the Brits did the night missions.

Special relationship with the sissies in the UK, except when they stab us in the back.

Church Lady: “Isn’t that special?”

England still has one of the finest trained militaries in the world. Starmer is the problem. Hopefully his reign of stupidity will end soon.

Just like America elected Obama the UK elected Starmer.

Starmer is a total POS but, let’s remember, the British People gave him a huge victory with exactly 10% more votes than Rishi Sunak the conservative.

So, “it’s the VOTERS Stupid”. Right?

Nothing personal. Didn’t know her. I have known a lot of brits. Some are ok, most are sorry twits that I have known. Their most offensive faults are unwarranted arrogance and unfailing dishonesty and loyalty.
