The killing of the “Supreme Leader ,some senior officials and generals does not break the back of the evil regime in Iran. That regime is controlled by the network of insiders who control the oil industry and its revenues, the banks, the bazaars, the police, the army and the security forces. They also pay ( in hard currency), the goons that keep the populace suppressed. Until these people are uprooted and eliminated, the regime will continue to function and survive.Their elimination will not happen as a result of bombing. It will take American boots on the ground, fighting and casualties.

Unless the current regime is destroyed and the stockpile of enriched uranium is seized, this war will be a failure. It will not be easy or quick work to destroy this regime.
