The democrat party is old. It is a fact. Nancy Pelosi is 85 and although she is retired she still talks a lot and clearly wields some clout when not seeming drunk. Chuck Schumer is 75 years old and more and more frail in appearance. At 78 Jerry Nadler routinely falls asleep in hearings.
Barack Obama says the democrat party is just too old.
So, who comes next?

Hakeem Jeffries has a weird sounding voice. That might be why people have never really taken to him, and he cannot establish a gravitas about himself. I can't take him seriously. Most people can't. That lack of seriousness has led many of us to refer to him as Dollar Tree Obama or Temu Obama or Discount Obama.

AOC continues to amaze in her quest to be taken seriously. She recently was interviewed at the Munich security conference and showed everyone how deep she is in the first thirty seconds after she was asked a question:

She tried to mock Marco Rubio as being ignorant when she blurted out
"My favorite part is he said cowboys are rooted in Spain. Uhhh, speak to Mexicans & African slaves!"Spain introduced horses to Mexico.
And when she attempted to criticize Rubio about Venezuela....

AOC wanted the limelight. She wanted creds for a Presidential campaign. Instead, it was a train wreck. Clay Travis may have best captured her performance:

Jasmine Crockett is a gold mine of gobbledygook and is inherently not a serious person. She can code talk with the drop of a hat. Since her election to Congress her most significant contribution is a cringe dance video
Congress is merely a platform for her self-aggrandizement, and there is no end to her nonsensical logorrhea.
She made clear the entire country is at risk should she fall asleep

I often see swooning over Mayor Pete amongst our brothers, sisters, and non-binary others at DU.
This would be hilarious, except for the facts that we have far too many idiot and gullible voters, a voting system still much too broken to trust, and one political party that can’t be bothered to vote unless the environment becomes dire.
The KKK was founded by Democrats to regain political power in the South after the Civil War, by defeating the Republicans. (Terrifying the black population was a means to that goal.) Not that Jasmine should be expected to know anything about US history.
If this were the 1980’s, AOC would have had a shot at being a Robert Palmer girl as long as she stayed in the back row.
