You love to see it happen. The lawless mob that Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has emboldened was literally at his door, making demands Friday night. The crowd called on Walz to fight back against ICE and the Trump administration and to legalize all illegal aliens.
Leftists outside the Minnesota governor’s mansion have turned on Tim Walz for not being radical enough:

The Democrats are caught supporting the unsupportable and defending indefensible.
They can either double down on their drsteuctive behavior and keep supporting violent criminals, mooches, vote fraud, massive theft of taxpayer money and fraudsters or they can support the Trump deportation polices.
This is an 80- 20 issue not in the Democrats favor. The more they double down on anti ICE and support welfare consuming and fraud committing illegal aliens the more they alienate mainstream voters.
The Democrats have created and funded an zealous anti ICE movement and it has become a Frankenstein’s monster that they are losing control of.
If they let the monster run wild, the people will mobilize to get rid of Democrats.
If the Democrats try to take down their monster , the activist zealots will turn against their masters.
At the end of the day, the Left always eats it's own as Walz and his crew will soon discover.

The perfect development - as you said, the revolution turning on itself. Our side needs to get busy with a color revolution of its own - stoke the fires of disillusionment on the left. Pour it on. Twisting the knife is where Trump is superb.
Demanding the impossible is much better than making merely impractical or politically risky demands on Coach - he will come out looking weak and it could accelerate down hill rapidly.
Might hurt Super Bowl ratings tomorrow if momentum gathers. Another alternative halftime show for viewers.
