The international attention given to the Denmark Controversy (not the subject of this article) is an opportunity to look at Danish immigration policies.
Denmark has some of the toughest immigration policies in the Western world — arguably the best, with the exception of the Visegrad countries, which don’t have much immigration to begin with.
Consider this: Mette Frederiksen, current prime minister of Denmark, is not a right-winger, but a member of the center-left Social Democrat party (Socialdemokratiet) .
Nevertheless, her party was elected in 2019 on a platform which included stricter immigration policies.
In January of 2021, Prime Minister Frederiksen made the announcement that immigration to Denmark should be limited to prevent threats to the country’s social cohesion. She gets it!

It appears they have the data divided down to useful categories and are acting on it. Good or Them.
Sent to family and friends.
You can’t mix Cultures , never work , like introducing a rat to kill a bug and then you need something to kill the Rats
We need to study the Danish brain to figure out the source of their abundant common sense. Then, package it up and dish it out to the world lunatics in order to make the world a better place. Regrettably, it is not likely to happen because I, for one, am just now hearing of the Danish achievement and this tells me how successful the news is being suppressed. I note that even this author in his article describes the Danish approach as ‘draconian.’
Actually, the “draconian” quote is not from the author of this article but from an author quoted in this article.
She sensed the way the wind was blowing - - unlike liberals here in the US who are famous for standing with the 20% on any given issue.
Yes, people are coming here, ostensibly because they need protection from the deadly threats they facing in their home country.
But then, once they get their papers, they go back, vacationing, visiting family and friends, carrying bags of money, sending remittances, applying for family and friends to join them here!
Somehow, the threads disappeared once they get their papers!
These asylum seekers are almost all fraud!
Stricter immigration policies doesn’t have to be a specifically right-wing position. Cesar Chavez was against illegal immigration because he believed it drove down wages for legitimate workers, and he was mostly on the left.
Immigration is just a left-wing cause at the current moment because they see it as a path to power through census representation and illegal voting, etc.
There were Jews running from Hitler, and people running away from communists countries.
They faced certain death or very long imprisonment!
These laws were set for such a people, but now, they are abused by practically everybody!
Yes, that’s the problem. The Bomb Brothers, for example, would go back and visit the same country they were seeking refuge from! Cubans do it all the time, even Marco Rubio has admitted that.
Yes.
Marco Rubio (or rather his parents), legally emigrated from Cuba even before Castro.
They were never asylum seekers!
So I would say, Rubio can go to Cuba, he have never escaped the Castro dictatorship.
But most Cubans here have.
These are the people Trump wants to wrest Greenland from? Maybe we ought to be bestest buddies with them instead -they sound like the only ones over there with a clue.
