Jennifer Mnookin, the chancellor of UW-Madison, has been selected as the newest leader of Columbia University.
The university made the announcement on Sunday. Mnookin will leave UW-Madison at the end of the academic school year.
Mnookin, a legal scholar, has served as chancellor since 2022 after serving as the dean of the University of California, Los Angeles Law School.
"During her leadership tenure, the university has risen in important national rankings, improved student outcomes, achieved record fundraising success and helped make a UW–Madison education affordable and accessible for more Wisconsin students," the university said in its announcement.
“It has been a true honor to be a part of the Wisconsin family. I am proud of what we have accomplished together, even in a challenging period for higher education, and I know great possibilities lie ahead for the UW–Madison campus community,” said Mnookin in the university's announcement.
Mnookin earned her bachelor's degree from Harvard University, a law degree from Yale University, and a doctorate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Highly liberal university going to another highly liberal university. “Meet the new boss, same as the old boss”.
How much more left can Columbia University go?
It’s not likely that they were going to nominate Cruz or Rubio, but going full on commie?
Thousands of better qualified white males not considered.
Not allowed.
Columbia U… ungh
… SIEU Local 73 involvement in radical movements is significant in another, perhaps more direct and disturbing way. While Hatem Abudayyeh currently heads the AAAN, its co-founders are Rashid Khalidi, a Columbia University professor of Arab Studies and former PLO operative, and his wife, Columbia University Public Affairs Assistant Dean Mona Khalidi. In 1994, AAAN, not quite up and running, received a $40,000 seed grant from the Woods Fund of Chicago, a private nonprofit radical philanthropy which went into operation that year and whose charter executive board included future President Barack Obama. In 1999, unrepentant Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers became a board member. During 2001-02, the Woods Fund bankrolled AAAN with two grants totaling $75,000. In 2003, Obama, a close friend of Mr. Khalidi (the latter has admitted to raising funds for Obama’s unsuccessful 2000 run for Congress), toasted Khalidi at his going-away party. The Los Angeles Times reportedly had in its possession during the 2008 campaign a videotape of the event, but refused to release its contents. Rashid Khalidi, significantly, also is a board member of Movement for a Democratic Society whose board members over the years have included Weather Underground terrorist Bernardine Dohrn, and former SDS leaders Tom Hayden, Alan Haber and Carl Davidson. He also sits on the advisory board of the U.S. Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation, which joined forces with Code Pink, United for Peace and Justice and other groups to support the Gaza Flotilla. As he has termed Israel a “racist” state, that makes sense.

Already full commie, lol
Dwight D. Eisenhower was president of Columbia in 1948, but eventually he found better things to do.
Dwight David Eisenhower was also an unhinged leftist crackpot who funded every communist revolution in the world, from Nicaragua to Cuba to Vietnam. And if you think I’m being tough on a “war hero,” he handed the Philippines to the Japanese just to screw with McArthur’s political ambitions. He was FDR’s toady who ran as a Republican only because he thought it would look bad to the Japanese and Germans if the same party got elected over and over again in the US, but he basically built the Deep State because he hated conservative Americans more than he hated communism.
Never go full commie.
Mnookin, apparently, is the candidate approved by the chicom government...
UW–Madison education affordable and accessible. I say BS/ only top 5 % from any state high school are allowed to enroll. Students from large high school are screwed.
More women
