Bill Whittle is my favorite Conservative voice, and in this linked video he discusses a new trend that is apparently spreading over the Internet, and it highlights the efforts on the European governments (in this case, British) attempts to crack down on Internet speech.
The British government has released a series of animated "instructional" interactive cartoons online which are intended to indoctrinate people in what Orwell called Goodthink in his seminal work, 1984 which is what the government feels is the "right" way to think about certain issues. (I believe the videos are called Pathways because the user can select different decisions to see how things come out.
In the one Pathway video Bill Whittle describes, "Charlie" is talking with Amelia, kind of a semi-Goth girl apparently, with purple hair and a choker, and Amelia is trying to convince him to go to an anti-immigration protest (which appears to be categorized as a Right Wing kind of thing) because she can't go. (This is an example of what the animation looks like)
In this video, the only good pathway that can be interactively followed where poor Charlie doesn't get approached by the cops, thrown in jail or fired by his employer is the pathway where the guy tells Amelia to stay away from him, because of her xenophobia, homophobia and every other kind of denigration they can assign to conservatives or anyone who disagrees with immigration.
But it takes an interesting twist, this Orwellian attempt by the British government to shape the online attitudes of Britons.
Some enterprising British citizen who didn't like this attempt by the government to brainwash him, decided to make his own version of Amelia using Artificial Intelligence, and the result is wonderful!

What is even funnier is the a-holes who made the game thought Amelia would be an example of what not to be when it backfired and everyone embraced her and made her a hero.

Suddenly all the leftwing girls with purple hair are changing their hair color.
The publisher had to take down the Pathways game (probably at the direction of UK government), as the AI Amelia character so thoroughly destroyed it and revealed the underlying brainwashing it was intended to accomplish. The “AI Amelias” are having much more influence on young minds (and some older ones), and in a positive way.
I heard of a German Amelia as well.
