19th January 2026. Norway advising citizens of preparations for wartime property requisitions, military says.
Thousands of Norwegians are expected to receive letters from the military on Monday informing them that their homes, vehicles, boats and machinery may be requisitioned in the event of war.
"The requisitions are intended to ensure that, in a wartime situation, the armed forces have access to the resources necessary for the defence of the country," the military said in a statement.

Norway shares a 198-km land border and a significant maritime boundary in the Arctic with Russia, making it a “frontline” nation. There is high concern over increased Russian surveillance, intelligence gathering, and drone activity near sensitive military installations.
While Norway is focusing on strengthening its defenses and collaborating with NATO and Nordic allies (such as in the 2026 Cold Response exercise), the primary, specific, and immediate concern is Russia.

This is a joke.
If they are getting ready to fight WW2, they are a bit late. Three or four nukes on what passes for population centers in Norway and one big aerial nuke for EMP destruction and its game over for Norway. The Germans are not coming to take them over again. Nobody cares whether Norway continues to exist.
Who is going to war with Norway?

Against who? Russia is a spent force. Their conventional military is gone, they have no power, water, fuel, or oil, and the entire nation is freezing to death!
Yup—northern Norway is a total frozen wasteland and nobody even wants it.
