Some frightening scenes out of yesterday’s four-man bobsled race in St. Moritz.
USA’s Kris Horn had to navigate the big sled on his own after three teammates failed to board.
It all starts when Hunter Powell slips and goes from there.

Good movie.
LOL
I loved watching the bobsled as a youth. Always wondered how they built those tracks.
What’s with #4 bailing?
Maybe they need to bring back Herschel Walker.
And this from the comments section: "They came in 9th. And 12th, 15th and 17th"
The driver did great. then had to jump into the back seat to apply the brakes at the end.
The result was a three-gone conclusion.
One of my faves. Peace be the journey.
That FanDuel bet is not looking too safe about now.
Kris Horn used to be a brakeman. He knew just when to switch to the back.
That’s nothing- “frightening” is 3/4’s of the way down the track when the sled flips at 80MPH....
I believe St Moritz is one of the few natural snow tracks on the schedule versus the refrigerated tracks around the world...
I was at the 1988 Olympics in Calgary when the world was introduced to the Jamaican bobsled team...the track at Calgary had a 270-degree banked turn which was wild..the exit of the turn went under and overpass from an earlier part of the track...we snuck underneath the overpass and watched as the lesser teams such as the Jamaican sled, would come out of the turn, slam the wall and hold on for dear life...
